C2C April 14th. Newbie - Need some advice

Hello All,

Myself and a few other hikers from AZ (www.arizonahikers.com) will be heading out that way in a few weeks and have some questions.

Where is a good place to stay nearby? Preferably something reasonable, close to the TH (within 30 minutes)

If you only have 1 vehicle, what is the best way to arrange the shuttle? Park at the TH and take a cab back or hitch a ride? Just curious.

I'm sure I will think of some more questions in a week or so. Just got back from a week in the Grand Canyon, so the mind isn't completely functional yet.

If five people take a cab back to the car, you pay less than five dollars per person. I have had a lot of success hitch hiking back to the car. People in the cable car down have offered me a ride after they have heard of my big hike.
