Looking for a great day hike w/o snow

Postby bahamar » Tue Jan 26, 2010 3:12 pm

Hey friends,
I'm hoping to do a fun/challenging day hike in about a month and am looking for a reasonably straightforward hike. I'm not a snow hiker and was wondering if the hike up to the tram would be doable in late February without snow? I'm south of you guys and don't know the snow schedule 8)

Thanks,

Mark

Snow

Most areas above 8,000 feet will have snow for at least two or three months, if you want "snow free" areas, San Jactinto is not the place until mid-spring or later.

There's an abundant amount of other hikes to do, Hal and others post here with them all the time.
