Who Was On C2C This Morning At 5:30am???

Postby magikwalt » Wed Mar 14, 2007 3:10 pm

We were over on Lykken Trail at 5:30am coming up to Mesquite Ave and saw at least one head lamp pushing quickly up trail. About 6:10am they went behind the ridge around 2300ft or so and we couldn't follow the movement anymore.

Who's sneaking up C2C on a workday? Anyone going to post a trail report?

i once tried leaving a register (log book) at the 4430 ft level to see how many people were going up there, but it was removed after a month.
Kathy found my name in the register on Kingston Peak near Tecopa Pass which I signed in 36 years ago. (1970) Isn't that cool.

Half Way Hump Log Book

Postby magikwalt » Thu Mar 15, 2007 8:59 am

Cy I think a log book at the half way mark would be great. I know there is a geo cache up there at that point.

How do the log books work on other trails? Would a large cookie tin be appropriate to hold a log book?
