RMRU rescue report in Chino Canyon Dec 4

Postby Cy Kaicener » Thu Dec 24, 2009 6:53 pm

It seems like two hikers (climbers) took the tram up the day before and attempted to hike down Chino Canyon. One of them was rescued between towers 1 and 2 at approxmately 3500 feet by helicopter after his partner alerted someone at the lower tram station.

To my surprise, the subject did not have a backpack or any items to help his decent other than the light jacket he was wearing.
