Anybody do Skyline last weekend? (3/3 or 3/4)

Can anyone give a report on the trail conditions? I'm wondering if there's any ice on the trail above Slick Rock, or if it's clear up to Long Valley.

My three friends who are training to do Denali in Alaska in June all made it to the tram on Saturday. We started at 5 am. There is a little ice up there now but it should be gone by Saturday. The snow at Long Valley is patchy already, so it wont be long now. The only person we saw was Doreen who caught up to us at the half way point after leaving an hour later.

Thanks Cy. I may do Skyline this coming Saturday, or I might check out Vivian Creek. Are you going up this weekend?

Yes - myself and Robie. The trail is almost snow free already. The small patches that remain should be gone by the week end.
