I've got the snowshoes dusted off - it'll be great riding that tram up for my first tramshoeing adventure of the season.

Windy, with a west wind between 30 and 35 mph, with gusts as high as 65 mph. Chance of precipitation is 90%. New snow accumulation of 15 to 21 inches possible.

Monday Night: Snow showers and areas of blowing snow before 4am, then a slight chance of snow showers after 4am. The snow could be heavy at times. Some thunder is also possible. Low around 17. Sounds like another storm might be coming in on Saturday, so I'll have to go into waiting mode as I don't think heading into a storm might be the best thing for me to do.

I'm 'furloughed'* at work between Christmas and New Years, and the Tram opens every day at 8AM - whats not to like! :D

* = This means I'm not getting paid, so I guess I can honor myself with the unofficial title of 'dirtbag climber' for that week. 8)
3 of the 5 voices in my head are telling me to "Go for it!"

went up this afternoon to check out the snow..1 1/2' in long valley around 5 oclock, snow coming down good and they're expecting it to snow through wednesday at this point. very soft, powdery snow.

Thanks for putting that link up there Dave, I remember seeing them last year at a good price, but couldn't remember where. ( memories full ). I imagine you guys have a bit of snow by now ?
