Cactus to Clouds to Cactus: Nov. 25

I’ll be doing the Cactus the Clouds route from Palm Springs, California to the summit of Mt. San Jacinto and back on Wednesday, Nov. 25th, if anyone is interested in joining me. I'll probably start around 2 am and finish around 1:00 pm.

I'm hoping that there will be minimal or no snow on the route after all the recent fair weather. Anyone know?

Jeff, unless we get fresh snow you will be fine doing the whole trail to the summit, most of the snow that was on the trial has melted, what is still there is minimal. Ellen can give you a little more detail on the upper reaches of the Sky Line Trail but everything from Long Valley to Summit is clear.
