Snow in SoCal

The San Gabriels have picked up some snow. There is a picture on the link below. Does anyone know if Mt San Jacinto has any above the tramway?

The upper tram station has been covered in clouds all day and not visible from Palm Springs. The temp up there has been a few degrees above freezing throughout the day and this mornings TV news said there could be light snow down to 7500'. A bunch of us are doing Skyline tomorrow, we'll let you know!

You guys are tough! No one is just a little burned out on Skyline after last weekend? I mean, I love the trail, but right now, I still have a very clear imprint in my mind of every rock and shrub along the way (except for Tina's tree, which I have never come across), and each image is associated with exhaustion and pain.

Well, take it easy as a recovery hike and don't injure yourselves! See you all soon.

Good luck with the PR. Remember, if your legs are burning and your lungs are saying no way, it's just reflecting the quality of your training last weekend. On the other hand, if things are feeling smooth and natural, then GO! Post and let us know how it turns out!

Cy - there's a very light dusting of snow up there. Nothing significant, but it was pretty cold.

Yes there is snow on San J :-) Not too much, though.
