Does anyone have any recommendations on foot gear? I seem to "blow" through mine fairly quickly. I interested in what seems to work for you more experienced guys.
Thanks,
Lightgy

For the feet opposite the wheels I recommend using tennis balls. If you get a utility knife and punch an X in each one about 1" square it seems to fit snugly to the shaft once it gets past the black rubber cork at the ends. Makes for easy sliding on linoleum, hardwood and some other smooth floor surfaces. For the wheels on the other two legs just keep em oiled up regularly.

What are you using and what is blowing out? I've gone through three pairs of shoes this year but all of them had bad multi piece soles that I don't buy anymore. I just bought a pair of La Sportivas with a one piece sole. They're light but hopefully they'll hold up.

Only footwear that ever held up for me were an old pair of Pivettas in the old days. Of course they weighed about 1/2 a ton.

Unless I'm carrying 40# or more I am almost always in a pair of New Balance 471. Big toe box and $39.95 at almost every Big 5 sale.
