San Jacinto from tramway, 6/29

Enjoyed a very nice hike from the tram to San Jacinto and back today. Trails were quiet and i didn't see anyone at all until i was heading back down. It's great having the peak all to yourself! Got to the peak in 1 hour 50 minutes. Actually took me a few minutes longer coming back down. Bit of light rain sprinkles on the way down near Round Valley.

Dang - 1:50!
The one and only time I did that it took me 3:50 tram to summit.
I did stop a bit at Wellman's Divide and at the hut, but dang!
Were you running?

No, i don't run. Just a steady hiking pace. I was trying to get to the peak before noon but with the late 10am weekday tramcar i got to peak at 12:06pm.
