Which cell phone company provides best service on Skyline?

My comment on Cingular is just a guess at this point. I've been using a cheap phone but am going to switch out the card and put it into a better phone with better reception. It should be an interesting experiment, but I don't think it will have the same reception as Verizon.

I've used Cingular, and ATT when is still was, on all parts of Skyline, maybe a little tough on the traverse or one of the mini valleys at 4-5k.
They seem to have good coverage most outdoor areas for me.
The type phone matters, the phone guy says theMotorola flips are some of the best for signal strenght.
Just don't let anyone catch you talkin on it on the trail!!
