According to the official site:

The Tramway will be closed for Annual Maintenance September 8, 2008 - Sept 26, 2008, reopening Saturday Sept 27, 2008.

I didn't know it closed a few years ago, and only avoided a long hike back down because someone here posted about its closure, so I thought I'd do the same.

See you all out there on Skyline in a few weeks.

lets say that the weather cooled down enough to do skyline, are you saying that we can't do it and get down via tram until after the 27th???
