I agree with Perry...it's hard to imagine trying 3 skylines without having done 2 to know the feeling. For me at least.

I'm all for a late afternoon bbq or whatever sort of gettogether, that would be great.

I'd say everyone plan their initial ascent time to get to the tram at 8am (whenever the first tram goes down). Then everyone could start the 2nd one together, go at different paces, and end up with several hrs difference.

After 2 skylines, I won't mind passing out in the park with a Hoegaarden for a few hrs before the festivities :D

I would suggest Ruth Hardy Park, it's between the tram and museum as well as next to the hospital. Of course I hope that won't be a factor.

Tina, this is directly from the manager at the Tram, sent them an email.

Thank you for your email. The Tram ticket is valid for 1 trip up and 1 trip down.

Sincerely,

Lena Zimmerschied

But the guys at the top don't check that closely most of the time, so coming down twice with the same ticket is possible, just giving you the answer to the question, not telling anyone to get into bad behavior. :D

As many of you know, my wife is a mental health professional* licensed in the State of California. For anyone with delusions of doing two Skylines (let alone three) in a day, she has agreed to provide her services for half her normal rate. She has a particular concern for such poor unfortunates as may consider such a fool hardy thing. Her efforts have allowed many a Skyline-a-holic to lead a normal life. You too can be free of the obsession. Support groups forming soon.

Only if she has other hobbies, hanging around, then get concerned :D

If we ever get back to doing the "Death March" in the San Gabriels, will she do therapy for that as well

No baby yet. Michiko's due date is this Sunday (day after tomorrow).

For those of you who have met my petite wife (4'11", 95#), she is petite no longer. If any of the gang from the Peanuts cartoon strip saw her, they'd know just what became of the Great Pumpkin.

She's doing well, but she hasn't even dropped yet. I'll post something when "it" happens. Right now, we're letting nature take its course but we may induce labor if she goes past her due date.

I'm REALLY excited.
