This reminds me of the Simpsons episode where both candidates are really aliens disguised as people:

I can't find a clip of it, but at the point where it's revealed that both candidates are aliens, somebody suggests voting for a third party, then one of the aliens replies with something like, "go ahead, throw away your vote!"
