AACK! Ellen, I hadn't seen the leg pix before, OMG. Okay, now don't think I'm a total sicko, but in a sick way, this picture is very cool. It really expresses your determination and spirit. Make it your AVATAR!!!

I've used that trail 3 or 4 times. It's somewhat overgrown and takes some serious route finding skills, but there was nothing "on trail" in March that would cause that kind of damage!! I've never been able to follow the trail all the way to the peak, if it goes that far. The trail fades into open woods to the south of the peak, then it's a short cross country hike before you intersect the regular trail. Hook up with me next march and I'll show you the way!
