Two mountain lions sighted on Skyline

General Palm Springs area.

Breeding pairs will stay together and a young one will stay with its mother for a while. So it could have been 2. I have seen lots of tracks along the Cactus Springs trail and the PCT off of the 74. Nothing up on the mountain though. They got to be there though.

Remember, a known danger is seldom the danger that gets you. When there are attacks, they're always out of the blue, with no precursors. Same here, I'll bet, we'll be fine. I'll bet my life on it, in fact, since I'll be out there running around like a fool in the very near future! See ya'll soon.

i've hiked in the hills around saddleback for more than 50 years and i just saw my 1st mountain lion by trabuco canyon....he lounges around the horse stables.....
