Do we need to RSVP for that climb, or can we just show up? If we do have to, to whom?

GigaMike and I did Snow Creek on Saturday. Met up with Steve and Fern along the way. The conditions were about as good as it gets. The snow was a bit hard on the upper half (couldn't kick steps) but still good for cramponing. The chockstone is still completely buried. Mike and I did an approach route that completely avoids the DWP property. That probably added an extra hour but we still completed the trip in shorter time than the 3 times I've been up the regular approach. I'll post more on this approach variation later.

Rick, Cant tell you how nice it was running in to you and Mike on the snow up there. Great day and great company, LMK when your thinking about going again anytime soon, like to get in on the new route you guys did across the ridge.

Mike, thanks alot, really couldn't have run into anyone better to be with up there.

Man, I've gotta give you guys credit. That's a tough climb, but it's also scary as heck. There's no way I'd have the guts to try that! I was on the peak looking down - I wish I would have been able to see you from the top...but I don't get very close to the edge.

Looking forward to this report. I've looked at the possibility of going up near Patencio Hot Spring and then coming across near the second fall in Falls Creek. I'm wondering how you guys did it.
