Can she already put weight on the leg or is it purely protective?

I am guessing but its probably purely protective. I doubt they want her putting weight on it but given that she is hiking around the ward we better get something on it now!

I was up in San Francisco all last week, and there was a short article in the SF Chronicle about Ellen's ordeal (I believe it was AP copy, not a Chronicle reporter's article). Glad to see she made it through that Saturday night/Sunday storm.

From what's been posted, it seems she used here experience in, and knowledge of, the outdoors to made some great decisions when the world started to fall apart, making good decisions. Kudos to her.
