Patrick, those are some great pics. I posted a few below to share what it looked like at my house when that storm hit. (I just put thumbnails to minimize space. Of course, you can click on a pic if interested.)
Ellen, you are one mountain climbing woman nowadays! How many times are you averaging a week right now?
Steve, be sure to look at the last pic.
Of course, I built an igloo in the back yard.
But my big fat butt would barely fit into it.
The neighborhood looked like Switzerland
And here's one for Steve of Cat back in 2004. (That disembodied hand is one of my other daughters, Lauren, who was inside the igloo helping me finish the top.)
Hope I didn't bore everyone with the pics, but I get all excited about the snow.

I'm guesing those are from the Nov Storm in 2004, nice shots and you are talking about Yuciapa where you live?
As far as Warren and "Fecal" bateria, that's a bunch of "crap" no pun intended, the hikers and climbers would have to defecate directly into the water for that to be true - if they want us to respect them and they want the public to be aware of the real reason then I challenge them to make available the bacteria reports for the past ten years and have that analyzed by an "Independent" company. Hikers and climbers rarely if ever go in or near streams, ponds or creeks and those times that they do use the great outdooors (not in the water)(the number of pople that have gone up snow creek is like less than 100 in the last ten years) and when hikers use the out doors most folks bury it and it decomposes and if by chance they went on or near the surface of the snow, some of that material would decompose naturally and not end up in the water and flies and other's in the animal kindom will natarually go at it as well.
Lastly, if they wanted good Public relations with the hiking/climbing community they could have walked down the road to the park cars and make a public announcement that they were aware of the hikers and that attempting to cross DWA property was not allowed, and in fact they were there waiting to catch anyone attempting to (good fair warning) that would have been sufficient to allow some of them to leave without that "Ninja Army Bullshit Tactics" - too me they are hiding something, and they still do not have the 1 squre mile of DWA land properly posted as required by California State Trespass law - so as much as he would like us to believe that the no crossing their property is from the "Fecal Matter" I say that's "CRAP"
