Yeah, a lot better than doing something like climbing a mountain with friends. Yuk Yuk. You've done kind of a lot of that mountain climbing stuff this past year, a lazy Monday enjoying breakfast in the ski hut was probably just the right thing. It was good seeing you either way. Still, we didn't have time to talk about helicopter rides...I'll talk to you this week.

What an all around great event. Wish I would've gotten to meet up with some of you guys.

On a side note, I asked a reporter if I could borrow her pen to write down a buddy's phone number and in turn she interviewed me for her article. Fair trade I suppose.

Here's the link to the article she wrote about the race.

That was a moment of horrible suffering! About 100 yards from the summit, everyone who had been staggering upward suddenly began to run. I did not have a lot of running left in me. I was on fumes at that point.

I have the group picture that I took downloaded on my computer. Is there some way to post it directly nowadays, or do I still have to upload it to smugmug or something like that before I can post it like Ze did?

Hey, look at it this way: you're faster on fumes than most of us with a full head of steam. Congrats on a race well run.

Unless you're running a web server on your personal machine, you'll need to upload the photo.

Here's the group pic. I'm the guy on the left that looks slightly dazed and confused, the happy pirate is Mike, the really proud one is Fernando, and the good looking couple on the right are Ze and Rachel.
