Zip, Ivette and Slaves 1-3, WOW! What a family and what a great event you hosted. Jean and I throughly enjoyed ourselves. Your hospitality and the continuous laughter were wonderful.

Zip - Your Adventure Pass was mailed this morning to your home address.

Cat - Miss Jean forgot to pickup the picture you made for me so I'll have to get it on my next visit.

We really enjoyed getting to meet and share time with so many of the people how make this site great.

Thanks to all.

Zip... I enjoyed your pics! Could you maybe add some names to the pics for lame people like me that didn't make it to the party?

Florian: Um, the really good looking one is Hikin' Jim.

To "Z" and company: thanks so much for opening your home and your hearts to us. Your cute girls reassure me that all will be well when my daughter arrives in September.

You have a lovely home with a great back yard. I hope you recoup all your cleaning and repair expenses when your get the deposit back on the 64 cases of beer we drank. BTW, what are you going to do with the other 36 cases that are still left over? Sounds like another party to me... :D

Seriously though, a well planned hike, a great gathering spot, good food, and good folks. It doesn't get much better than that, and I thank you very much

HJ

P.S. Mark, Tina, Steve, Kathryn, DaveG, Phydeaux, and Z-family (did I miss anyone?), it was great to meet you all.

Hey, you're right Florian! Hikin' Jim, are you becoming like the elusive FIGHT ON!? Hmmm, you do have an honest face!

I think I have a simpler explanation: Most of the pictures were taken by my 7 year old, and she didn't have any particular rhyme or reason to her choosing. To be honest, I was surprised that there were so few pictures, usually the kids go hog wild and we have 400 pictures from an event. Well, that's one more reason to set up the next one!

Incidentally, I had some friends dress up in Bighorn costumes and run right by FIGHT ON! up on Baldy while we were at the party, but he somehow slipped away unphotographed. Rats!

So, anyone on deck for a fall celebration?

HikinJim trying to get us all some money. Lets see how good of a job he's going to have done. He was pretty damn thorough.

actually this photo was being taken of the white van right behind Jim...I was thinking of the ice chest full of cold beer that was in it. :D

As for the fall.....we're not sure we can wait that long.

Tell the girls we say hello.
