wow Jennifer, you must have missed Coffmans Crag and the areas adjacent. When I saw it in person it reminded me of Wallace Stevens.

Anecdote of the Jar
Wallace Stevens

I placed a jar in Tennessee,
And round it was, upon a hill.
It made the slovenly wilderness
Surround that hill.

The wilderness rose up to it,
And sprawled around, no longer wild.
The jar was round upon the ground
And tall and of a port in air.

It took dominion every where.
The jar was gray and bare.
It did not give of bird or bush,
Like nothing else in Tennessee.

Do you really think that is less than an awesome area? Huge trees growing out the side the cliffs. Just awesome. I have only been hiking for just over a year and that area is what sticks out in my mind more than any other hike. If you know of a harder hike in southern cal please tell me where it is.
Why did you hike it four times?

Dude, "Jennifer" isn't a real person. It ("Jennifer") is an internet "troll." It comes on this forum to try to get people all bolluxed up. For some reason it gets its jollies out of this activity. It is highly doubtful that it has ever been near Skyline. Think of Gollum typing at a computer keyboard in a dark, unclean room. Oops, I shouldn't say Gollum ("Jennifer's" real name).

Troll Rule #1: Don't feed the troll. Every time you respond to Gollum, yoiu encourge it to continue polluting this otherwise great board.

Did I miss something?  :o

Sorry, I just got home from actually being OUT and DOING SOMETHING!

I'm glad I changed my call sign to MooseTracks. HikerLaura was just WAY too obvious.
