I am looking forward to your shoulder giving you permission to go x-country with a pack, Ellen! My pack was so heavy with all the junk I brought for battling the "storm" that I was glad I wasn't going x-country. Hiking on the trail was hard enough! We can bring much lighter loads, which your shoulder will appreciate, if our next trip is planned for a fair-weather hike!
