Hello Ellen,

What a delight to read your TR!

such morsels as:
We passed a old burn area that I call the "ghost forest." The rock formations in this area were very cool and reminded us of scenery in old Westerns -- we half expected to be ambushed.

and how parsimonious (and hypernatremic!) for you H2O 'insurance.'
Channeling Rick Kent, eh?
...I collected 1/2 a liter for insurance

Shoulda told this camper that you were following a large white rabbit and were dismayed at being so late; "Did you happen to see where he went?"

we were in Tamarack and met by a very nice camper who asked if we were lost

This is atrocious news, especially re: computer/data/ ID theft issues. And what malice to break *two* windows. What, Jr. Pinhead couldn't figure out how to get in or unlock doors after breaking the first window? Jeebus...

some chicken shit a$$ hoodlum had stolen David's luggage and computer and broken two of his windows

The fine photos are commensurate with the prose. This one evokes Carl Sandburg "...as if on catlike feet":

Thanks for the TR and fotos!

P.S.: I see that you traveled with Σίσυφος :

Oh, and they finally fixed the sign. It's still wrong (there's no "Mt." in the peak's name), but at least there's a sign.

Howdy Arocknoid :)

Thanks so much for your kind words 8)

Howdy Hikin' Jim :)

It was great to figure it out. Next time, I'll be able to put the pictures WITH the trip report, just like Wordsmiths Arocknoid, Hikin' Jim and GreatShatain.

Miles of smiles,
Ellen

Cy,

I wrote up some directions for photo posting. The directions are specifically for Google, but they may be helpful for other places where you can store photos.
