Black Mountain Road Conditions

General Palm Springs area.

I talked to the ranger Sunday morning, he said the water spicket has been completely redone, but they are just waiting for contamination test results before it's drinkable again. Here are some pics of the water spicket and the damage to the road, which is about 1/8 mile before the water spicket. Also, some pics of recent graffiti (I assume this is graffiti and not USGS markings) on the road up to the fire lookout.

Same here. I tried googling those, but didn't come up with anything that would relate to those taggings. Bastards!

I would hope these scumbags take a trip to Singapore soon to show their "creativity".

I camped at Boulder Basin 9/21-9/23. The road has been repaired and the spring was back to normal.
