Per the tram's website:

The Tramway’s annual maintenance is scheduled for September 10-23, 2012, tentatively reopening September 24, 2012.

Maybe the last weekend in September would be good?

So, are we any closer to a date?

I'm open Saturday, Sept 22 all day.
Sunday, Sept 23, we're celebrating Joyce's third birthday, so that's out for me.
Saturday, Sept 29 is also a possibility in the afternoon.
Sept 30 is open although less desireable since we usually go to church in the morning.

How about Saturday September 22? The only downside I can see is that it may be a zoo since this is when the tram reopens.

Ellen, you're betraying your status as a die-hard hiker. I think the general public may be less heart broken than we are concerning the maint. shut down. Indeed, I think they schedule the shut down in Sept (after school starts) quite deliberately.

I checked with the boss (the Mrs.), and I am clear for lift off.
