Yeah, the middle pool is a "keeper." (it keeps you). The upper pool (nice but small) and the lower pool (biggest) are easy in and out.

Can you jump from the middle pool to the lower pool, or are you truly stuck?

Maybe this is a bad idea, but what if a few of us took a long sturdy rope, tied some knots in it so it's really easy to grab from the water, and did the "middle pool challenge." See if you can get out without using the rope... I've never been to Caramba myself, so I can't really say whether this is a good fun low-risk activity or a really bad idea. A harness and pulley system would be safer. (+helmet)

I bet Bluerail could do it if I tossed him like a bean bag onto the upper lip.

Water @ Caramba

Postby Jill G » Sun Jul 22, 2012 1:43 pm

We went to Sam Fink Pk and then swimming at Caramba yesterday 7/21/12. Went up from Devil's Slide to Laws Trail, out to the Caramba Overlook then xctry/use trial to Sam Fink & back to Caramba to sun & SWIM.
Less flow than 2 weeks ago but you can definitely swim in either the upper "punchbowl" or the lower pool.
