Looks like you should have a pretty good moon.

I'm going to try and be there. Incidentally, if I carry a guitar, which I don't play very well at all, is there anyone who would play tunes during this mysterious midnight madness to accompany us as we hike?

Just a thought. (For anyone who doesn't know the details of my arrested development, I once was staying in Tuolumne Meadows, and outside of the lodge, there was this guy playing a guitar. Mostly blues, but lots of tunes really. We stood out there, in the black-and-white stillness of a moonlit Yosemite night, listening to the river and singing harmonies to every song you can imagine. That was it for me.

If you can play and will play, you're my hero. I've seen a few postings here of people at open mic who can sing or play and sing. Any takers?

Anyway, even if it's totally silent, which is wonderful as well, I hope to be in.

Howdy Z :)

Sure hope you can come -- I haven't seen your cape go by since you broke trail on San Jacinto for us back in Feb.

I can't play guitar but am always happy to sing while hiking.

Hey, Ellen,

Are you trying to get him to come -- or are you trying to chase him off.

Howdy HJ :)

I'll let other folks who've hiked with me answer that  I know the group pace always picks up when I start singing, which means it's either inspirational or....
