Lee, that's a great loop! I've only been as far as the rock house remains at the 3000 foot level. Your route shows a little jog in the track where they would be so i assume you visited them.

We stopped there for lunch on the 2nd day, Florian. Everyone was doing their own thing and I sorta wondered around the place. There was quite a bit of Indian artifacts to see but we had to move on. You remember the place also has a commanding view of the whole valley and the entrance to the valley? Great place to camp if no one gets offended. The first circle, lower right, was where we spent the first night. Navigation was mostly by ducks, there weren't too many of them, and it was getting dark. Top left, at the base of Toro, was where we spent the 2nd night.

very nice, that part of the desert is as beautiful as anywhere around here. Looks like it was a great trip.
