Speaking of 'stashing'.....

I rode the tram up today, and 'stashed' some water, gatorade, and food, for my first attempt at C2C all the way, tomorrow, 5/17/09. I'm hoping for 100+ temps tomorrow! Make my first a total hell.....and heaven! Maybe next time I'll carry it all, this time...my first time....I'll take the 'easy' way. Come on Mr. Squirrel, leave my stuff alone!

So you descended several thousand feet just to drop off supplies? Don't you think it would be easier to just carry more when you start tomorrow? Now you have to deal with muscle soreness from hiking downhill.

D.K. it was nice running into you at the summit today. glad your trip was good and i'm sure you'll feel different about doing it again as soon as the smoke clears.
good idea to have stashed stuff up there the day before, and I'm glad the oportunistic little beast left it all alone.
