I have been lurking here for about a year or so. I have really learned a lot. My son and I made it to the peak last fall and it was the highlight of our hiking season. We hope to get a little more adventuresome this year but I am afraid my knees will keep me from doing some of the stuff that I read about here. But we love the mountain and we are going to volunteer at the Tahquitz fire lookout this year. So if your in the neighborhood say hi!

A fabulous day. Post holing wasn't much fun, but the blue skies were unbeatable.

The crystal clear reflections of San G in Dry Lake were a super bonus.

at what point is it not right to call dry lake, dry lake ? I saw the pic you put on fb....it's beautiful Jim....you need to go up SJ and check out that one...another beauty.
