I am looking for help...

The picture on the left is of a game for the iPhone.
Here is the text from the about page.

Hypothermia is a new class of outdoor game from ClassV.com for the iPad, iPhone and iPod touch. I first created hypothermia years ago when I worked with Riverside Mountain rescue. It was a board game we played while waiting at my house in Snow Creek for dawn and the helicopter to arrive. We sometimes added events that we had rescued people for the previous week. I hope you enjoy playing this new version of hypothermia as much as I and my buddies did the original version.

I will be sending $.05 of every game sold to Riverside Mountain Rescue. The game is 99 cents.

Just wondering if I could ask some of the relentless winter peak baggers for some photos I can use.

I am looking for: Winter images only...

A single track of boot prints going into the distance.
Anything take in a whiteout.
The peak sign absolutely plastered in snow.
Or a really terrific shot from the peak.
A collapsed snow bridge across a creek. Ha, you can guess what that's for.
A collapsed snow cave.
A picture of a burned glove if you want to send this anonymous okay :-)
The images will be somewhat cartoonized for the game.

If you wish to anonymously immortalize yourself or a friend you can send me a short story to use as a hypothermia event with a funny ending.

As you know there is almost no end to the stupid backcountry tricks that people do, us included.

My personal favorite, "You stop and take a long drink from your fuel bottle". I did not do that!

Thanks in advance for your help.

Offer to contribute...Once I hear from RMRU that you have contributed $200 and I see a legal contract to send them 5 cents for every dollar of sales I will be happy to contribute and hawk others to contribute to your money making venture.

You start the snowball rolling down the mountain and it will grow and gather speed!!! You move first.

Well Pilgrim, that would be way too late. The money comes in after the game is finished. If@all. IPhone app makers get .70 of every $1.00. Apple keeps .30 Yesterday I got a guy with terrific photos and he is an Odin-send.
I doubt RMRU would enter into that kind of contract.

Thanks for your offer.

BTW anyone know Dave Ezell?

This sounds sadistic. Have you ever read the lyrics of the Tool song "Vicarious"?

Dave Ezell was a member of RMRU. Last time I saw him, I believe he said he was a highschool teacher in Corona.

Nope, been one, but mostly just use tools.

http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Schadenfreude

Is how I would reference this feeling you are describing.

So you agree with me? And you're comfortable producing a video game that appeals to the ugly side of humanity?

Oh brother, get a grip. (':D')

It ain't video. It ain't ugly. Funny. Edu also, there are ID questions.

Schadenfreude was referencing "your" feelings as I read from the lyrics.

Schadenfreude is not how I would describe the feelings of the game. There are rescues, donations of help and equipment. If you hose in the wilderness in this game mostly you "grit your teeth and push on", lose a turn or get aid from all types. Extra Large Ranger. Two Shred Betties! RMRU. Just like in the real world. And yes there is a "They find you next spring",card.

Interesting where we go sometimes.

Dogeared Dave Was one of my best buddies from that era. For a little skinny guy he sure could move a propane tank to round Valley in a big hurry!
