Great article and very well deserved! Both Doreen and Cy have been an inspiration to me since I discovered Skyline two years ago...

Thanks for the clarification. I was taught in school that Columbus discovered Skyline. :D

OK, I know that someone will feel a need to chime in that Native Americans were up there centuries before Columbus, who never did make it to what is now the USA. Let's face it -- Skyline would have kicked Columbus's a**.

Doreen just e mailed me to say that it was on the front page. She also said that she hikes Skyline weekly instead of monthly, and was very happy with the article.

Postby DancesWithTheMountains » Tue Dec 15, 2009 10:10 pm

Hi Everyone!
Thank you so much for all the kind words! That trail is such a part of
my life that I can't think of ever not doing it. If I have to crawl up I will!
I feel so blessed to have know so many of you over the years. May the
"spirit" of the mountian always be with you and remember if you can't
move the mountian, just climb it!!!
Love to all,
Doreen
