One of my wife's students gave us a copy of that book. It looks like a great resource.

David did a stellar job on this much needed guide. The GPS tracks alone are worth more than the cost of the book.

what are all the "supersize it" hikes?

I didn't buy the Supersize It book because the guy pulled this book out and said it just came in. It's done by the same guy though and he explained that all the hikes were in this book. Kathy W. I believe has the Supersize book.
There are two sections that have the hardest hikes, I'll just list the last section, there are 7 hikes :

Nine Baldy Peaks - All the major summits around Baldy

San Antonio Ridge - Cross country from Iron mtn. to Baldy

Nine Peaks of the Desert Divide - From Tahquitz to Cedar Springs on the PCT including the peaks

Cactus To Clouds

Rabbit Peak

Three Saints - San Jacinto, San Gorgonio and Baldy all within 24 hrs.

It would be interesting to see how the book describes the Snow Creek hike trail head access.
Does it mention the closed area? and steer the reader around it? or not?

Kathy, You won't be disappointed I'm sure. This guy is young and smart and obviously a trail loon. Lots of good info, you've probably gotten a taste of that already.
