C2C on October 15th?

I'm planning C2C on the 15th. I have not done the skyline between the museum and tram. Wondering if any others have similiar plans. Start time for me is flexible, anything from midnight to as late as 4 am. Pace? WAG probably something between 6-8.5 hrs to the tram, if the heat isn't too bad.

Temperatures in Palm Springs are predicted to be in the nineties this week according to the weather report at http://thedesertsun.com The earlier you go, the better. I am going this coming Saturday as close to midnight as I can make it.
