Devil's Slide vs Fuller Ridge

Hi Everyone,

This is a great site!! I've never hiked SJ and will be doing my first hike next month.

I searched this board for info comparing the Devil's Slide route to the Fuller Ridge to SJ peak. I found some great info here, but was wondering if someone could compare the two routes for me.

I noticed that Devil's Slide is said to be the most popular/crowded, but how do they compare as far as shade, difficulty, etc.

I'm just trying to decide which way would be best to go. Thanks for any info you can give me.
