Did SoCal (or Sierra) get the foot of rain and several FEET of snow they kept forecasting??? I'm stuck in AZ and miss San Jacinto and Gorgonia bad. My snow shoes slapped me in the face and my crampons stuck me in the butt from lack of use. I miss the SoCal mountains REALLY BAD!!!

Lemme Know.............Arg. I want my mountains back.

Here is an article by the local paper (the second link) that will give you some idea. They forecast rain in Palm Springs for three consecutive days. The low at Long Valley is forecast at 7 degrees F for tomorrow night according to www.pstramway.com/cams-weather/weather-detail.asp

The Tram Cam showing Long Valley is iced over right now so its obviously cold. The camera pointing towards the valley floor shows snow on the foreground trees.
