Skyline trail conditions

I'm considering hiking the Skyline trail to the tram in April. I'm wondering if there is any snow/ice on the north end of the trail. I'm an experienced hot weather hiker so I'm not worried about the heat but I'm not good with snow and ice so I want to avoid that as much as possible.
