I think I like this El Nino fella...

Two more feet of snow predicted, and the strongest part of the season isn't til February and March! Awesome! That being said, all injured persons (Can you say "Ellen Coleman", boys an girls?) should refrain from snow play for the time being!

The numbers have dropped since yesterday, but NOAA is still predicting over a foot Sunday. I've posted links that go to several areas of the mountain posted on my blog:

No te preocupes. (Don't worry. ) At least not yet. El Nino is at its best in Feb and March. If we're getting something now, it's actually a good sign, however little it might appear to be. But it's not that little really. Go out and look at Baldy/San G/San J. Is this not one of the most beautiful years you have seen in a long time? And we have our best chances before us...keep the faith!

Viva El Nino!

Yeah, I am looking out my office window right now in Costa Mesa. I have a beautiful view of a snow capped Mt. Baldy and surrounding peaks. Beautiful. And this is the most snow I've seen in quite a while. I guess I was just expecting spectacular. In the age of Climate Chaos/Climate Collapse, perhaps I should rejoice that we're having a relatively "normal" year. Hey, at least it's not a drought, right?
