Excellent article, Hal, and thanks for posting it. If only it were required reading for everyone who goes up Skyline. We really need a sign like the one in the article, too.

Posted same article in the outdoor related topics forum yesterday. I do think similar signs at Skyline trailheads would be a good idea.

Ha ha Jim! :) No, it wasn't me, because the author was way too mild and reasonable. I would have been a lot more severe. But he did an excellent job of describing the dangers.
