It started hailing on us from a clear blue sky when we were at around 2000'. Strange and wonderful. As we got up into the snow, we found great views of San G in the distance:

From the forecast you would have thought the whole day would look like that! Anyway, just wanted to toss in my two cents. I have never found that a spooky forecast meant I should stay home!
