I carried micro spikes but didn't require them. There was a dusting of new snow on the traverse. The only tracks in the new snow were made by deer. I wouldn't be surprised if the snow was melted off now.
My friend Doug was also on the trail and kindly treated me to a celebratory beverage and paid for the taxi. Thanks buddy and a belated happy birthday!
The day was a gift thanks to the chilly temperature and lovely clouds. I was also blessed by the kindness of Liridon and Doug.
I had lunch at Las Casuelas, where I managed to leave my blue smart wool long sleeved shirt
Miles of smiles,
Ellen
