Congratulations are certainly in order, but this does change the priorities of our most prolific poster

Am I the most prolific? Sheesh, somebody needs to get a life.

I guess I have been bitten by the SJ bug lately. They're a beautiful set of mountains, and since I've had some free time, I've been getting out a lot more.

Congratulations on the new Job HJ!

I have really been enjoying your epic SJ adventures lately. Especially the accompanying Acme Maps and photos. They’re giving me some travel ideas of my own.

Thanks. We're all breathing a sigh of relief around here.

Considering your adventures, I'll take that as a compliment.

One of the privileges of unemployment is that I've gotten out for a lot more hiking. I've been wanting to explore the Desert Divide for years. It was really fun to finally do peaks like Apache and Spitler and re-visit Antsell Rock. I also got to do Pine Mountain, Pyramid, and others. I really had never been south of Apple Saddle before. It's great country, albeit a bit dry.

Congratulations HJ, that is wonderful news--for your new employer as well as you, of course!
