Howdy All :)

Joined the San Jacinto hiking club lead by fearless Dan for a ---0--- hike yesterday: a double stemed lollipop? Went from Humber up to Saddle Junction > Willow Creek > Hidden Divide > High Trail > Wellman's > San Jacinto > Wellman's > Humber. Weather and company were absolutely perfect. Didn't encounter many folks until we started up from Round Valley to Wellman's. Water was flowing well at the Round Valley spigot.

The summit was gorgeous -- very blue skies with puffy white clouds. Another treat -- we got to chat with many of our friends who'd hiked from the tram to the peak. Wellman's Cienega was also flowing well. It started to warm up as we dropped back down from Saddle Junction to Humber. Marilyn (thanks for driving) and I had excellent Chili Verde at Arribas Mexican restaurant across from the Ranger Station in Idylwild.

I'm feeling the urge to hike Fuller Ridge...

Miles of smiles,
Ellen

Howdy HJ :)

Fearless Dan said it was about 20 miles with 5 K of gain. I love that entire area between Saddle Junction and Tahquitz.
