Cactus to clouds trail conditions

We're a group of 5 going up the Skyline trail on Friday to the tram.
Was wondering if anyone has been up there lately and the upper
trail conditions. We weren't planning on bringing crampons, but thought
we would ask first.

Almost all of the snow/ice has melted off the traverse, so you don't need traction gear. It's going to be warm and windy (low of 62 in Palm Springs)
