Saturday's Skyline

Postby DancesWithTheMountains » Sun Dec 09, 2012 5:53 pm

Hi everyone,
What a great day on skyline. Not only did I get to stay with Fernando
for about 10 minutes, but I actually got to get a hug from Ellen. It was a lot more cooler than last weekend and it seemed that the trail had a nice
quiet feel to it. It was pretty cool. Finally got to meet Hiking Jim. Spent
a little time with him on the trail. What a surprise to see Zippadee right
before Dry Falls. The last time I saw him was on San G.!!! Still missed
seeing Steve and Patti. Thank you Steve and Fernando for that stone
barrier. I put a few more stones on it myself. It looks like hikers had
still gone over it and caused some of the stones to pull away. A big
thanks to Jack for clearing out that fallen tree that I could barely climb
over up in tree-line. Also, who ever fixed my 4300 stone maker, a very
BIG, BIG THANK YOU!!! Someone took the time to really make it look nice.Don't know who you are, but I thank you from the bottom of my heart.
Happy Trails to all
Doreen
