Saturday's Skyline

Hi Everybody,
Had a great hike on Skyline this Saturday. I was amazed at how quiet
it was. It was perfect. Ended up meeting two groups of guys and had a nice
hike up with all of them from Manzanita to the end of the trail. It was a little
hot at 5:45 am. Almost turned around from the heat. Glad I didn't.
Where heck was everyone??? Ellen??? Steve and Fernando??? Patti???
I missed all of you. Didn't get any sense that you were on the trail. IF you
were, I am sorry I didn't get to see you, again. It was pretty packed with
people at the tram station. The walk back to the museum parking lot
did me in this time. One of these days I am going to accept a ride back!!(LOL)
See you all next week if I don't do San G.

Sounds like you had a great day! Congratulations on one more Skyline!

I went up to your 4300 marker on Sunday--looks like it's back in place. I didn't see anybody except two guys at 4000 feet who I convinced to go back (it had taken them four hours to get that far, and one guy was cramping.) You're right that it was warm this weekend.

Well, some of us had a blast navigating the Guadalupe.

Doreen,

If I see you on Skyline, I'm going to go hide in the bushes out of embarrassment. You are one tough hiker, walking back to the trailhead from the tram. That's crazy tough.

So if you hear someone mumbling "I'm not worthy" in the bushes on Skyline, you'll know it's me.
