snow or ice on skyline?

Postby seektruth » Fri Nov 16, 2012 10:04 pm

Considering skyline on sunday morning...Anyone know if there is snow or ice on the upper portion before the tram? Forecast says less than half an inch of snow might accumulate saturday & sunday...I don't know if that's likely to make the trail difficult without gear (crampons, etc., which I neither have nor know how to use!). Thanks for any advice!! :D

Howdy TruthSeeker :)

As of yesterday, Skyline was clear of snow and ice. Some friends are going up today and can report on conditions.

If there's snow on the Long Valley tram cam, there's likely snow on the traverse.

Miles of smiles,
