Howdy Ferg!

Welcome to the southland. Glad you had a slight break in the weather with your Skyline stroll. Still a stroll in the park compared to MDS!!

It was a big day, one of the longest continuious climbs on a training run that I have done. In fact I ran a Rim to Rim to Rim in the grand canyon in May and this one took about the same time, was every bit as challenging as the R2R2R. So no stroll but a little easier than MDS, ha ha...
I am unfortunately leaving tomorrow morning so will not be able to head back up there. Did find so good trails around La Quinta, the Boo Hoff loop and a few others.

We are staying in La Quinta right near the trail head, to bad we are leaving. Would have loved to go for a cruise in the trails with you. Oh well next time I'm here I will post and it might work out.
