Caramba

We went to Caramba yesterday. The route is clear of all snow and the water is flowing. The waterfalls and pools are very full now. This is a great time to go there!

The pictures looked like a lot of fun!
Does Carumba dry up completely in summer?
I was thinking of trying for June there.

I don't believe that it dries up, but the water level decreases. It's mostly snow melt now, but the water also comes from springs.

It was nice seeing you again Sugar. I'm sure we'll do Caramba again. We are doing a nice hike up there via Strawberry Junction to Little Round Valley and to the San J summit on June 10th. It's a really nice hike, with lots of water.

Nice stuff. That pool below the falls is one of my fav spots in the SJ's.
